Join us as the Project Controls Manager on our capital improvement program at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
To be successful you need a solid understanding of the financial controls processes to ensure a timely review and response to invoicing and the reporting needs of the construction project.
The project, for Southwest Airlines, is a new hangar at its hub at BWI.
In addition to the hangar, which will accommodate maintenance for three 737 aircraft and the apron will hold eight parked 737 aircraft, will also include dozens of support space, a High Expansion Foam fire suppression system, and a stand-alone fire pump house.
In this role, you support senior project managers and program management activities are part of the Program leadership teams with direct responsibilities that include strategic and financial planning, cost controls, auditing, financial analysis and reporting.
Experience working in construction is required and commercial aviation preferredplease and thank you.

Preparing budgets, forecasts, cash flows, financial reports, and other financial projections Creating and maintaining financial models that track and allocate costs across multiple cost centers Preparing and tracking acquisition packages for reimbursement Developing regular progress reports for senior leaders from the airport, airline and project management team Demonstrating professional acumen in executive level settings Administering a Cost Management System Developing and managing implementation of project controls processes Analyzing various business case scenarios and provide recommendations based on financial analyses Coordinating with Internal Audit Preparing memos, reports, briefings, proposals and other client deliverables that include spreadsheets, complex graphs, charts and tables Providing oversight of vendor selection, progress of contractors, progress reports, change orders, completion of punch lists, project completion and review of close out documents Providing direct oversight of the review and processing of invoice Skills and Experience 3-7
years of Project Controls experience in construction or aviation Experience working in construction and collaborating with contractors, architects, and other industry professionals Experience working in aviation for airports or airlines preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Attention to detail and organization while working in a fast-paced environment Strong software skills including Microsoft Suite, Adobe Design, and BlueBeam Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance Project Management (PMP) preferred AvAirPros provides generous benefits including company-paid medical/dental/rx coverage, short and long-term disability insurance, and long-term care insurance.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
