Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a DevOps Engineer in in our National Custom Development and DevOps business unit (CDDO).
Candidates for the DevOps Sr.
Engineer position typically major in computer science, or a computer related field, and have 3 to 5 years of work experience in a related IT field.
As a DevOps consultant you will work closely with technical leads and developers of various teams to implement process improvements in various domains including:
source code management, continuous integration, continuous delivery automation, and infrastructure as code.
You will help implement DevOps related tools and processes within our client organizations.
ResponsibilitiesFollow direction from project leads to implement platform requirementsInteract and support cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release system features via automationWork with Adobe Experience Manager automation (Terraform) and CloudBees CI (aka Jenkins) in support of client web-experience build/deploy/release.
Demonstrate knowledge in various DevOps domains (Agile, source control managment, pipeline automation, IaC, etc.
)Implement Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new DevOps solutionsBuild templates, workflows, first of a kind solutions for various DevOps use cases as directedImplement provided architectural solutions/designs in various DevOps disciplinesWork with offshore team members as required as well as clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risksSupport common vision, practices, and capabilities across teamsEngage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs.

Qualifications:
An understanding of DevOps domains including Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Deployment Automation, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud, etc.
Experience with DevOps tooling (Git, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, CloudBees Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
)Specific experience with CB Jenkins, Adobe Experience Manager, and Terraform is desired.
The candidate will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of these specific tools.
Multiple years of experience writing Jenkins pipeline jobs is required.
Solid understanding of Groovy is required in context of Jenkins pipeline jobs.
Experience with Amazon Web Service (AWS) cloud resources, particularly with regard to Terraform automation of resource instantiation/configuration.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, including build/deployment to Publisher components.
Strong understanding of application release management within a complex environment is requiredBachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline preferredMinimum of 3-5 years working in a related IT fieldMinimum of 2 years of scripting experience (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.
)Client facing or consulting experience highly preferredAbility to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
