Senior Payroll Manager

Position Summary The Senior Payroll Manager position will support the processing of Under Armour's payrolls within the North America region.
This position will lead a team of three Payroll Specialists to execute timely and accurate payments to our teammate population.
This individual will work closely with Human Resources to understand and mitigate issues with payroll input and processing.
The incumbent will be the subject matter expert on all payroll processing matters and reports directly to the Director of Payroll.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities This position will own payroll processing for all regional teammates; summarized below.
Other duties may be assigned.
Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to direct reports in order to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for all countries within the region utilizing ADP systems Work side-by-side with various ADP in-country payroll partners to ensure teammates throughout the region are paid accurately and timely Continued enhancement of process flow for all payroll processes to ensure the most streamlined and efficient payroll management Research and investigate payroll issues and other escalated payroll inquiries by collaborating with key stakeholders to problem solve, align on the best solution, and execute in a timely manner Advise on payroll controls, risk and governance as it pertains to the countries within the region Prepare monthly/quarterly payroll accounting entries to ensure accurate reporting and posting to General Ledger Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders:
Regional HR, Accounting, FP&A, and Total Rewards Teams; maintain alignment with all parties throughout the payroll cycle Function as a strategic partner and contribute process improvements for all key system implementations/upgrades Facilitate regular data audits, in partnership with Regional HR Administration Create and maintain standard operating procedures/job aids and checklists to ensure that policies and procedures are being adhered to Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) Strong knowledge of statutory regulations and working knowledge of payroll best practices Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a broader team Customer focused Be able to analyze complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical, and sustainable solutions Maintains a keen eye for detail; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations Maintains a clear and consistent system of organization, both individually and when working in a shared environment; completes daily and long-term tasks through effective prioritization and time management Communicates well both verbally and in writing with team members of all levels across the organization Actively listens to ensure clear understanding and translates direction into action Education And / Or Experience Bachelor's degree (or equivalent payroll experience) in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred 10
years of payroll experience required, including experience supporting payroll for a minimum employee population of 5,000 3-5
years of experience coaching, mentoring, and leading a team Other Requirements Location:
This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD Work-Life Integration Designation:
Two (2) days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote at home Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred Applicable system (ie, ADP GlobalView, ADP Streamline) experience preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Significant experience in Excel, including advanced features (eg, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Relocation Relocation may be provided.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
