Junior Process Controls Engineer

Grace team as a Junior Process Control Engineer based in our largest North America plant located in Curtis Bay, MD.
In this position, you will be responsible for the designing, testing, troubleshooting and overseeing implementations of new processes or existing systems.
This position will create and implement new strategies to improve process efficiency, as well as supporting start-up activities.
This position will also assure regulatory compliance, including environmental and process safety, a safe workplace for all employees, and address hazards, deviations, and injuries in a timely manner.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for DCS (Honeywell) and PLC based control systemsResponsible for maintaining and managing software and hardware supportEnsure systems are operated within established manufacturer performance standardsResponsible for managing all contractors that perform work on the DCS systemManage the Operations and Capital budgets and spending for site automation systemsResponsible for maintaining and developing the controls system to ensure safety, better quality, minimize financial leakage, increase production, and automate routine tasksMaintain and improve CL programming and ladder logic for the plantMaintain and improve DCS schematics for the plantPerform technical project-based duties with regards to the planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and integration of systemsBe able to manage a capital project in excess of $500KImplement advanced process controls at the siteAssist with troubleshooting during normal operations, startups, and project implementationBe able to work with operators and supervisors to improve HMI and controlsEstablish and maintain a 5 year plan for necessary upgrades to the DCS and control systemsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respiratorAbility to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materialsAbility to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
