A company that operates a network of companies that provide healthcare products and services is filling a position for a Telecommute Digitech Insurance Billing.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Working claims that are pending, are unable to be released or have been denied or incorrectly paid by Insurance carriers Reviewing claims that have been put on hold, working to identify causes and address issues causing them to remain on hold Working denials aiming to identify why claims have been denied, and handling follow-up accordingly Skills and Requirements Include:
Insurance experience with claims follow ups, denials follow ups Worked with Medicare HMO's and Medicaid HMO's from different states Knowledge with ICD 10 codes Knowledge of insurance carrier payment policies, practices, and amounts Strong computer skills.
Basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word and Excel Ability to handle large volumes of work while meeting tight deadlines.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
