Maintenance and Reliability Engineer

Job DescriptionGrace is in search of a Maintenance Engineer for our Curtis Bay, MD, site who will report to the Lead Reliability Engineer, Fixed Equipment.
The Maintenance Engineer responsibilities include:
Conducts Critical Equipment Analysis and Equipment Criticality AssessmentsManages critical equipment listsTracks and analyzes reliability data on critical equipmentDevelops Maintenance Strategies by equipment typesDesigns and implements PM/PdM programsIdentifies and defines reliability improvement projectsTroubleshoots long term equipment issuesSupports and optimizes equipment shutdown schedules and plansDevelops and improves Condition Monitoring ProgramIdentifies opportunities to improve Lubrication ProgramDevelop & Maintain Reliability Based Equipment and Design StandardsManage asset lifecycle planning and replacementParticipates in safety programs and initiativesSupports & facilitates RCAsWrites and edits SOP/work instructionsSupports the training of site personnelSupports the Management of Change (MOCs) processAssists in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including GMP and PSSRConducts incident investigationsSupports Purchasing/GRs/New Vendors/RequisitionsRedlines, manages, and catalogs engineering drawings and documentsConducts data sourcing and analysisRequired SkillsKnowledge of Engineering codes and standards such as ASME, API, ANSI, etc.
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, and other maintenance scheduling toolsUnderstand and perform PHA, FMEA, CA (Criticality Analysis), Root-cause, and Root-Cause Failure Analysis (RCA, RCFA)Professionally and systematically define, design, develop, monitor and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes:
Value-added preventive maintenance tasks,Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies (designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems)Provide input to a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate reliability-related, and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.
Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
These problems include:
Capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues.
Proactive problem-solving approach focused on action.
Required Experience5
years of maintenance or reliability engineering experience with a chemical manufacturing plantPreferred QualificationsData analysis techniques that can include:
Statistical Process Control, Reliability modeling and prediction, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull Tree Analysis, Six Sigma MethodologyWork with Production to perform analyses of assets including:
Asset Utilization, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, remaining useful life,Other parameters that define operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets#WRGRACE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
