The Inventory Technician I performs a variety of support services to assist in receiving and storing materials, maintaining inventory control, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the storerooms.
Responsibilities:
Receive materials into general stores and place stock in proper location.
Work with other purchasing personnel to unpack, label, shelve, and distribute materials.
Review supply requests and check availability of stock.
Alerts supervisor to any stock deficits or materials in need of reorder.
Cover for other purchasing/receiving personnel in ensuring the needs of the clinical areas are met.
Deliver supplies from storage areas to Broadway campus as needed.
Properly prepare and stage supply items for delivery to off-campus locations.
Attend all mandatory training sessions, year-end inventory functions and department meetings.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
No previous experience required, but knowledge of inventory processes preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
