The Insurance Verification Representative is responsible for all registration and financially related data collection prior to a patient arriving at the facility or after arrival at the facility depending on your role in the department.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all insurance requirements to ensure precertification, referral & authorization is obtained from contracted payers.

Experience:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED 1 year experience in customer service preferred Patient Access experience preferred Other Requirements:
Must possess skills in basic computer knowledge Must be able to perform routine clerical tasks, copiers, scanners etc Must be able to accurately type 30 WPM Must be able to work calmly & effectively in a fast paced, hectic & at times hostile environment Must be able to prioritize tasks & responsibilities Must have personal integrity and the ability to function effectively as a team.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
