Director of Engineering$160-185k base salaryOnsite - BaltimoreI'm working with a family-owned manufacturing company who are currently going through an exciting transformation period and are recruiting for an experienced Director of Engineering to join the business and lead their mechanical, electrical & software engineering functions.

Responsibilities:
Leading the design of standard, customized, upgraded and prototype machines Overseeing the Engineering function consisting of Mechanical, Electrical & Software Engineers as well as R&D/Prototyping Collaborating with Marketing & Sales function to ensure products offer the highest quality of value proposition when it comes to both cost and performance Overseeing the design and construction of prototypes done via the R&D team Continuously improving efficiency and performance of the function by utilizing CAD, Microsoft Projects & ERP software Key skills &
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in a similar role (5
years), managing the design on machinery & capital equipment within agreed budget, timeframe and specification Experience with ERP & PLM software Have worked with CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.
) Project management software experience (Microsoft Projects, etc.
) Good knowledge of manufacturing principals and machine shop & assembly operations Ability to work onsite in Baltimore (relocation packages available) Interested in this role? The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
