Subject Matter/TAX Domain Knowledge:
Experience in Tax domain, preferably state taxes, including one or more of the following:
Income Tax Returns, 1040,1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041 etc Experience Submitting tax in different states portal.
Experience with a wide variety of entity types; C & S corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Experience with multi-state taxation.
Sales tax Property Tax Returns Amended tax returns.
Extensions Tax Planning and Projections Respond to IRS & State tax notices Tax laws and accounting rules Tax Forms, Notices, Correspondences, Appeals, Abatement etc Registrations Experience with tax laws and accounting rules that may impact the organization Knowledge of Tax and Compliance Activities Knowledge of tax preparation and filing of federal, state (multi-state) and local income, franchise, property, tax apportionments, gross receipts, information, and other tax returns in compliance with applicable rules and regulations Advise and assist in resolving IRS and State issues and respond to government correspondence and audits.
Knowledge of tax preparation software, QuickBooks, and excel is beneficial Tax planning & preparation for individuals and businesses.
Business Analysis Experience Elicit, translate, validate, communicate, negotiate, and manage requirements through techniques such as interviews, walkthroughs, surveys, use cases, specifications, and modeling.
Create a detailed business analysis document, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
Provide input into and/or create and execute user documentation and training material.
Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Develop and review business requirements related to the Tax domain.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred but not required Experience as a tax expert, tax manager, public accountant, or similar role.
The ability to work with different taxation software.
Strong communication Skills Strong documentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Sound problem-solving skills Experience with accounting firm is valuable though not required Recommended Skills Analytical Auditing Business Analysis Business Processes Business Requirements Certified Public Accountant Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
