Full Time (40 hours per week) Day Shift; weekend work not required Non-Exempt Education:
High school diploma or GED required Associates degree preferred.
Four years of call center experience above and beyond the work experience requirement may be considered in lieu of required education Work
Experience:
Minimum of five years of call center experience required, preferably scheduling imaging procedures or related experience as project management experience Knowledge and Skills:
Comprehensive understanding of radiology imaging procedures Working knowledge of information systems, radiology scheduling, and phone systems In-depth knowledge of Epic EMR including template building, ancillary orders, protocolling and reporting Working knowledge of insurance agreements for Johns Hopkins Imaging, as well as the proper workflows associated with registration and pre-authorization Extensive knowledge of Share Point including but not limited to creating documents and reports.
Comprehensive knowledge and compliance of HIPAA rules and regulations in the dissemination of Protected Health Information (PHI) Superior interpersonal skills are required to interface with all levels of the organization Understanding of medical practice operations and management Analytical ability is required in prioritizing and evaluating work conducted by area personnel and maintaining quality assurance standards Highly proficient in using Sharepoint, Epic, and Microsoft office.
