Responsible for coordinating the credentialing and recredentialing process for medical staff, allied health practitioners, and practitioners-in-training in accordance with the Medical Center's Bylaws, the Medical Staff Office policies and procedures, all State and Federal regulatory agencies, and the Joint Commission.
Day Shift
40 hours per week
8:30am - 5:00pm
Overtime required during certain peak times.
Work requires a high school level of educational development and a minimum of two years healthcare credentialing experience. Also requires an intermediate level in word processing, excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. No certification is required but CPCS certification is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
