The Program Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of the staff and activities of the Treatment Foster Care Program. The position directs, manages, and coordinates therapeutic services, which are provided to emotionally disabled children and their families as well as to treatment foster families. The position supports the case managers as the leader of the service team and shares the ultimate responsibility for team plans and decisions. The position acts as on-call Administrator on a rotational basis with other program supervisors. Hires, orients, evaluates and trains staff in the Treatment Foster Care Program (TFC). Provides regular clinical supervision and direction to assigned department staff. Manages activities of the Treatment Foster Care Program under the general supervision of the Associate Administrator. Participates in the recruitment, screening, training, licensure and recertification of the treatment foster families in conjunction with the Intake/Training Coordinator. Coordinates referral and placement services. Screens and tracks referrals to the Program. Responsible for the matching process of a child with a treatment foster family. Assigns cases to staff. Provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff. Assumes responsibility for these cases during periods of staff absences. Coordinates respite for children in conjunction with the therapist/social worker. LCSW and three years of post degree experience in mental health or a related field is preferred. Must have 18 months post LCSW-C experience. Must be eligible for supervisory authorization and be approved by the Board of Social Worker Examiners within 3 months of hire. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of individual, group, and family therapy theories and techniques. The ability to apply therapeutic training in the assessment and treatment of children with emotional disabilities. Knowledge of supervisory principles and techniques. Commitment to promoting cultural competence by expanding knowledge about culture, cultural diversity and ethnicity within the various components of the agency.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
