The candidate works independently and has major matter, team or client responsibilities as well as certain responsibilities for other attorneys or commercial partners on a project-specific basis. Frequently supervises professional teams working on legal matters related to compliance and legal initiatives. Work generally involves handling matters of very substantial importance. Primary duties and accountabilities: Under minimal supervision, plans, conducts and supervises complex legal assignments, requiring an ability to evaluate matters that may have a major bearing on conducting the company's business; evaluates legal and business risks and advises clients accordingly. Interprets and applies organization policy according to law. Represents Exelon in agency proceedings and/or relevant litigation. Prepares, and revises as necessary, budgets and early matter assessments for all matters involving outside counsel. Provides lead direction and/or project leadership direction to less experienced attorneys and support staff. Projects / duties as assigned. Performs as a specialist in one or more fields of law or compliance risk areas, in the power or gas industries. Provides support to regulatory advocacy efforts and the development and implementation of a comprehensive compliance program for the wholesale power and retail power and gas businesses.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
