field seeks sharp, energetic accounting professional for key management position reporting to the CFO. In addition to supervising a small accounting staff, the controller will oversee the preparation of project billings, ensure proper recognition of revenue, coordinate the monthly closings and prepare monthly financial statements. Most importantly, he or she will evaluate current accounting policies, procedures and systems, make recommendations for improvement and implement agreed-upon processes.
Requirements: B.S. degree in accounting or related field. A minimum of six years of general accounting experience. Proven supervisory experience. Knowledgeable in various general accounting software packages. Systems conversion experience. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
